Home vs Gym Workout

Question: I recently started working out at home with video tapes for both aerobic & strength training. I am concerned that I may not get the same sculpted look & definition that I get in the gym - especially for my lower body. Many exercises call for lunges & squats, but as I usually do heavier weights at the gym, I am worried that I am undoing all my past work. Please advise. Laila

Answer: Laila, You're not undoing your past work, especially if you're being consistent with what you're doing. Experiment with the tapes at home for a while and then work out in the gym for a while, and then see what works best for your particular body. Results will vary from one individual to another.
