Lose Stomach Gain Booty

Question: After having 2 kids within a 1 year period I went from 103 lbs to 116 lbs. I gained most of my fat around my stomach area and not enough around my hips, thighs, and buttocks. Most women want to lose weight around their hips and thighs, I want to gain it or at least increase muscle mass around that area. I do cardio to lose the weight around my belly and strength training to keep the weight around my lower body. I do not know if I am doing the right thing. Please help! confused.

Answer: Dear confused, Since your goal is to lose fat around your midsection and gain muscle mass on your hips and thighs, you're doing exactly the right thing. Keep it up. Keep an eye on your caloric intake as well - eat when you're hungry and pay attention to when you're satisfied and stop then.
