Low Fat Flavored Yogurt and Weight Loss

Question: What's the deal with low-fat flavored yogurt (strawberry, blueberry etc?) I've read that the extra sugar makes it more caloric, but for a good snack 140 calories isn't bad I think. How do these added sugars stack up in regards to everything other than added calorie content? Is it really bad for me to be eating these? I don't like plain yogurt and as a vegetarian many fat-free yogurts are inedible as they contain gelatin! Thanks a million, Laila

Answer: Laila, You're right. As long as your caloric intake is moderate and evenly spread throughout the day, 140 calories for a snack is not too much.
