Answer: Perplexed, We're not really sure what long-term effects nutrasweet has on the body. However, regular soft drinks are loaded with sugar and have no nutritive value. There's really no way to say one is "better", the best thing, of course, is water. I personally drink a couple of diet drinks per week and have noticed no severe side effects.
