Strength Training Doing Too Much

Question: I work out 3 days a week, Day 1: chest, biceps & abs; Day 2: legs & abs; Day 3: back, shoulders, triceps. Day 3, today, I felt lost. I do 3 sets of 20 . Am I doing too much? What order should I do them in? Side raises, over the head press, upright rows, shoulder width bench press, nose buster w/E-Z curl bar, front pull downs (wide & close), cable rows, bent leg dead lift, shoulder shrug, hand on bench one arm rows, power clean & press. Thanks, Marie

Answer: Marie, I don't think you're doing too much, just as long as you're keeping good form. The basic rule for the order of strength training exercises is to work the larger muscle groups first. Start with your larger back muscles, then shoulders, then triceps on Day 3.
