Question: I would like to know some exercises specifically for my thighs. I have a walking routine and belong to the Prevention magazine walking club. I have also started healthy eating habits. Mainly, I am trying to tone my legs. Thanks Erica
Answer: Erica, Outside the gym, lunges and squats are good thigh exercises. Try stairclimbing on a long staircase, two steps at a time, to improve the strength in and appearance of your legs. The cardiovascular exercise you're getting from walking will help make your legs leaner, and keeping up your healthy eating habits is important to help let the muscle show.
